If you are using Windows 10 Technical Preview in your system, here is a good news for you. Microsoft has released a new update Build 10041 (also referred as Technical Preview 3) of Windows 10 to public. The new build is available for download via Windows Update, so it'll be automatically downloaded and installed in all computers running Windows 10 Technical Preview soon. If you want to manually download and install the new build ASAP, you can do this using following simple steps: 1. Open Settings app from Start Menu. 3. Now click on Advanced Options link present in right-side pane and select "Fast" option from the drop-down box. Go back to previous page and it'll automatically start checking for new builds. Otherwise you can click on "Check now" button. 4. Click on "Download now" button to start downloading the new update build 10041. After downloading the build, your computer will automatically restart to install the new update. The download size will be around 2 or 3 GB depending upon the computer architecture (32-bit or 64-bit) and system language. If you want to download standalone offline ISO file of Windows 10 build 10041 for clean installation, you'll need to wait for some time. Microsoft will release the offline ISO files very soon. New features and improvements in new build: Known issues and their workarounds in this new build: 1. If you can't see username and password boxes on login screen after installing this new build, press Ctrl+Alt+Del keys together and select "Switch User" option. 2. Do not lock your PC at the time of initial out-of-box experience (OOBE) process which is shown for the first time after installing the new build. Otherwise you'll have to restart your computer and start the OOBE process again. 3. If Mail, Calendar and People apps are broken, do as following to fix them: a. Open Start Menu, type Powershell, right-click on Powershell entry and select Run as Administrator option. b. Run following command in Powershell: c. Now reinstall all 3 apps using Store. 4. Some apps in Store beta may fail to install or update. 5. You might see a chess knight icon at the top-right corner of Lock Screen. Windows 10 users who are using the Technical Preview build, must install this new update build to experience the new features and more stability...
